The Achnamara Rowing Club meets on a regular basis to row the Daisy Bell. She is a St Ayles skiff and was built by village volunteers between 2018 and 2022. See the Achnamara Skiff Story.
Rowing sessions are now being held to introduce people to rowing the skiff and to learn the various skills needed for rowing and coxing. The boat needs four rowers and a cox.
Currently, rowing sessions are being held on Tuesday evenings from 7pm.
There are a limited number of places in the boat and initial priority is for villagers and for those involved in building the boat but there may be space in due course as further sessions are added. If you are interested in rowing or for more information please contact Carlo Farnocchi.
